Such a beautiful early summer evening for an art opening in Blue Hill!  A few photos from last Friday night:

The last one is me contemplating a few great paintings by another local artist whose work I love, Louise Bourne.   Thanks to Ryan for taking these photos - I didn't even know he was busy snapping away.

Recent paintings up on the wall at Landing Gallery in Rockland.  The opening last weekend was packed - I think people are ready to be out and about again after the quietness of winter and early spring.  It's always amazing to me to see my work in a gallery, framed, up on the wall, looking clean and finished.  Very different than seeing everything piled up haphazardly (though not too, I am usually tidy in my work habits) in my studio!
