Sarah, this new site is wonderful. I stopped at your home a couple of years ago with Mrs. Maier from Stonington and Lexington, bought a couple of paintings and have followed your blog since then. I missed you so this winter but encourage you to keep thoughts of the book - it will come together at the right time. These paintings are breathtaking. On my visit to Maine this summer I hope to see more of your work. Reading your blog is like reading poetry - as is seeing your work here. I'm so glad to hear you again, too. Truly I have missed you. Susie
Susie, thank you for writing! I was thinking of you recently, when I was painting at Sand Beach in Stonington during the warm spell we had here. No fog in sight this time, instead a perfectly blue and gold Maine day. It had me thinking about how I love to revisit certain places to paint there once again, because I know the paintings will be completely different (your little fog painting, vs. what I made this time around).
Thanks so much for your encouragement, on all fronts. And yes, please do look me up this summer when you come back to Maine!
